Occupation

Certain occupations make people highly susceptible to lower right back pain and injury. Unfortunately a large portion of the Western society has a job that falls into one of these “at risk” categories.

Repeated bending and lifting (Construction, warehouse work, or housewife) Heavy or repeated lifting is a common cause of back pain and issues. People often use improper  lifting techniques when they are tired or unfocused, which can lead to muscle/ligament tears, spinal disk damage, and fractures of the vertebrae.

Long hours sitting (Typical 9:00-5:00 desk jobs) Sitting in one position too long can lead to spinal posture problems that lead to lose of mobility and pain.

Long hours standing (Toll booth worker, bartender  or barber)
